Millie Askew

Millie Askew is a small New Zealand made label developed from a genuine love for making good quality clothing to last for years to come

Millie believes that we have a responsibility while producing garments to make ethical and sustainable choices and endeavor to do so wherever possible.  

Everything is predominantly made to order and all designed, created and sewn, wrapped and posted by Millie Askew in her home studio based in the Wairarapa (home to Hebe as well- we are SO proud to stock a locally produced brand).

MA aims to use mostly natural fibers and most fabrics have been sourced as deadstock- this means they are end-of-line, mill overruns, cancelled orders or designer excess. These fabrics are usually deemed a waste product in the fashion industry and would usually end up as landfill.

Millie believes that a combination of quality fabrics, construction and simple design will  create garments that will be treasured for years to come.
